I love to grab Arby’s curly fries from the freezer section and make them with sandwiches or as a simple side. The air fryer is the BEST way to make air fryer frozen curly fries. We have other fries you can make if you’re french fry lovers like we are. Other frozen fries you can make are regular frozen air fryer french fries, steak fries, and frozen air fryer sweet potato fries. One of the biggest challenges of making frozen fries in the oven or the microwave is that they would end up as soggy curly fries. Once I started making these in the air fryer, all of that changed. We now have much better results and always have crispy air fryer french fries to serve. They’re also an easy side dish to make! How does the air fryer make these fries perfect and crispy? The heating element uses high heat and the hot air circulation makes the cooking process quick and easy and with no need for an oven or a deep fryer with hot oil.

There are other varieties of curly fries, so choose the one that you and your family enjoy the most. It’s easy to make crispy curly fries in the air fryer. All you need is your air fryer, frozen fries, and about 10 minutes or less for this easy curly fries recipe. Not only are they easier, but they’re much healthier than the deep-fried variety.
How to Make Frozen Curly Fries in the Air Fryer
Note: This recipe was made with a basket style 5.8 qt Cosori air fryer. If you’re using a different brand of air fryer model (ie. one with racks) you may need to adjust and decrease the cooking time by a minute or two. Other brands may require you to add an additional minute or two. It’s always best to make a small test batch of a recipe if you’re using a different brand of air fryer.
What different dipping sauces can I use for these zesty curly fries?
I love to use ketchup, but you can use other dipping sauces such as honey mustard, Ranch dressing, or even an aioli dipping sauce.
Can I add seasoning to these twister fries?
Absolutely! If you’re purchasing or even making a basic style curly fry, you can add additional seasoning such as black pepper or cayennes pepper to spice things up a bit.
How to Air Fry Frozen French Fries
When air frying frozen french fries, it’s always important to keep the frozen fries in a single layer and allow a little space between each fry.
