How to Cook Ham in the Air Fryer

NOTE: Depending on which air fryer model you have, you’re air fryer may cook differently than my Cosori 5.8 quart air fryer. Different air fryers cook at different wattages so you might need to adjust the cook time according to your air fryer. Also, note that hams come in different shapes and sizes. Larger ham sizes will be close to the heating element and might brown the top of the ham when you remove the foil for the last 3 minutes of cook time.

Why do I need to let my fresh ham sit at room temperature before cooking?

I personally don’t allow my ham to sit out longer than 20 minutes before cooking, but it’s a good idea to allow your entire ham to sit at room temperature so that once you’ve started the cooking process, the ham will cook evenly.

How long can I allow the cooked ham to sit out before storing it?

It is recommended that ham doe not sit out longer than a couple of hours.

What are some recipes I can make with leftover ham?

Use leftover ham to make ham and potato soup, ham and cheese sandwiches, ham casserole, or ham and cheese sliders. I hope you enjoy this air fryer ham recipe as much as my family does. It’s a great recipe with simple ingredients made in a perfect way with this easy air fryer method.
